Career Workshops Financial Workshops Legal Workshops Current Support Groups Career Workshops The Women's Center is excited to offer a new Career Workshops Series this Spring: Tuesday, March 27 6:30-8:00pm: Self-Care & Career Transitions will offer renewal through the expressive arts, exploring activities to energize yourself and the job search! Tuesday, April 10 6:30-8:00pm: Speaking the Human Resource Language will cover tips on communicating your value and potential to Human Resource staff during interviews. Presented by Sharon McCormick, MCC, CPRW, GCDF. Tuesday, May 8 6:00-8:00pm: Advance Your Career will review tips on leveraging valuable employee development resources to advance in the workplace. Presented by Sharon McCormick, MCC, CPRW, GCDF. Tuesday, May 15 6:00-7:30pm: Organizing Your Job Search is a hands-on workshop will allow participants to create a personalized filing system for personal papers: career and beyond. Financial Workshops The Women’s Center offers FREE financial education workshops on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Workshops will be presented by financial professionals in the community and vary by topic every month.  Please review the attached flyer for a complete list of upcoming workshops. These workshops are free and open to women and men. All workshops are held at The Women’s Center. Space is limited, call 919-968-4610 to register or email the program director for more information. Legal Workshops Third Thursday Legal Workshops The Women’s Center will continue to offer family law workshops on the third Thursday of each month in 2012. Please see the attached flyer for more detailed information. Workshop topics rotate month-to-month, providing information on the legal aspects of separation & divorce and other issues in family law. Separation and Divorce Support Group The Women’s Center is holding a separation and divorce support group this summer, starting May 31. This group will have a career planning focus, discussing career transitions and job search after divorce and separation. Please review our detailed flyer for further information. Registration is required, and interested participants will need to be screened by the program director. This group is FREE and open to women only.
